Did you know you have to apply for Financial Aid every year? The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Financial Student Aid)<\/a> determines the types and amounts of Financial Aid you are eligible to receive every year including grants, loans, A+ and some scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To receive funding, the FAFSA must be completed at www.fafsa.ed.gov<\/em><\/a>, and you must also have a completed Financial Aid File<\/em>. A randomly selected percentage of students will be asked to provide additional documents for verification <\/strong>\u2014checking accuracy of information on the FAFSA\u2014and until those documents are received and reviewed, your Financial Aid File will not be complete and you will not receive any funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to check for a Completed Financial Aid File<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Find the button link to\u00a0MyÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø<\/strong>\u00a0in the upper-right corner of the header. Log in to MyÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø with the username and password provided to you by ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have not yet reset your password, use the temporary password provided in your acceptance letter to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In MyÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, click the Self Service<\/strong> box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the\u00a0Student<\/strong>\u00a0menu in Self Service, find the link in the\u00a0Financial Aid<\/strong>\u00a0section titled\u00a0Financial Aid Self-Service<\/strong>. Follow that link to the Financial Aid Self-Service page in Colleague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose the appropriate Academic Year in the dropdown box labeled Select an Award Year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incomplete Financial Aid File<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If your Financial Aid File is not complete, they will be marked with an Action Needed<\/strong> message. Click on the message to determine what else needs to be done to complete your file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If all the items in your checklist are green and marked Completed<\/strong>, then your Financial Aid File is complete and requires no further action!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
