Cocurricular opportunities can be embedded within existing academic programs or be adjacent to academic and extra-curricular programs. Cocurriculum at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø aims to be experiential, transformative, and accessible, while being collaboratively interwoven with the college\u2019s academic, cultural, and extra-curricular opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cocurricular learning opportunities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>fulfill ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø\u2019s Institutional Student Learning Outcomes (Critical Thinking, Communication, Social Responsibility, and Personal and Professional Development)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reflect ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø\u2019s Mission Statement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are tied to ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø\u2019s Strategic Plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>offer transformative experiential learning opportunities within all programs and emphasis areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be accessible to all students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Annual Assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cocurricular activities with designated ISLO Performance Indicators have been mapped as part of the institution\u2019s curriculum mapping. Sponsors of these activities (faculty and staff) conduct assessment of student learning in their targeted activities through both direct and indirect assessment. The Cocurricular Assessment Report and Plan (CARP) collects and analyzes data, while also offering an opportunity for planning for improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Cocurricular Assessment Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cocurricular Assessment Committee is a subcommittee of the Instructional Assessment Committee.
