As an LEA, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø works with companies to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;workforce needs, coordinate training plans, and manage the administrative requirements of the program. This role ensures that businesses have access to&nbsp;state supported&nbsp;training resources while receiving local, responsive support from ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø\u2019s Center for Workforce Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Missouri One Start Customized Training Program helps companies upskill new and existing employees through flexible, targeted training. Eligible employers receive support to develop training that improves productivity, strengthens employee skills, and supports business growth. The program\u2019s goal is to build a stronger Missouri workforce through job growth and retention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By serving as an LEA, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø connects regional employers to these state resources while delivering training that leads to stronger teams, improved performance, and a more skilled workforce across the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø service region.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-essential-blocks-accordion-item eb-accordion-item-5waw6 eb-accordion-wrapper\" data-clickable=\"false\"><div class=\"eb-accordion-title-wrapper eb-accordion-title-wrapper-eb-accordion-sxfug\" tabindex=\"0\"><span class=\"eb-accordion-icon-wrapper eb-accordion-icon-wrapper-eb-accordion-sxfug\"><span class=\"fas fa-angle-right eb-accordion-icon\"><\/span><\/span><div class=\"eb-accordion-title-content-wrap title-content-eb-accordion-sxfug\"><h3 class=\"eb-accordion-title\">Missouri Southeast Pathways to Work (MoSEPWork)<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"eb-accordion-content-wrapper eb-accordion-content-wrapper-eb-accordion-sxfug\"><div class=\"eb-accordion-content\">\n<p>ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø, Jefferson College, Mineral Area College, Three Rivers College, and Central Methodist University have come together to form the Missouri Southeast Pathways to Work (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jeffco.edu\/mosepwork-apprenticeship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MoSEPWork<\/a>) consortium.&nbsp;This&nbsp;consortium received a $3.9 million grant from the Department of Labor to develop and expand pre-apprenticeships and registered apprenticeships that focus on the fields of education, healthcare, and manufacturing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-essential-blocks-accordion-item eb-accordion-item-z9883 eb-accordion-wrapper\" data-clickable=\"false\"><div class=\"eb-accordion-title-wrapper eb-accordion-title-wrapper-eb-accordion-sxfug\" tabindex=\"0\"><span class=\"eb-accordion-icon-wrapper eb-accordion-icon-wrapper-eb-accordion-sxfug\"><span class=\"fas fa-angle-right eb-accordion-icon\"><\/span><\/span><div class=\"eb-accordion-title-content-wrap title-content-eb-accordion-sxfug\"><h3 class=\"eb-accordion-title\">Incumbent Worker Training Program<\/h3><\/div><\/div><div class=\"eb-accordion-content-wrapper eb-accordion-content-wrapper-eb-accordion-sxfug\"><div class=\"eb-accordion-content\">\n<p><strong>Option 1:<\/strong> Missouri&#8217;s incumbent worker training funds, primarily provided through the Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) program, are used to reimburse businesses for training their current employees to prevent layoffs or promote career advancement. Local Workforce Development Boards administer these funds, and to qualify, businesses must&nbsp;demonstrate&nbsp;a need for training to avert layoffs or skill up employees for promotion. The program requires that training leads to either a wage increase or other benefits for the employee within&nbsp;60 days&nbsp;of completion.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Option 2:<\/strong>&nbsp;Missouri\u2019s Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) is a state-funded, employer-driven program. It helps businesses upskill current employees to avert layoffs, enhance competitiveness, and support promotions and career advancement in any in-demand industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Option 3:<\/strong> Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) is an employer driven training service that provides employers with the opportunity to build and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a quality workforce.&nbsp;IWT can be used to&nbsp;either&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help avert potential layoffs of employees, or&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Obtain the skills necessary to&nbsp;retain&nbsp;employment, such as increasing the skill levels of employees so they can be promoted within the company and create backfill opportunities for less-skilled employees.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Target populations for IWT would be businesses and employers who meet local eligibility criteria to receive incumbent worker training funds and who need to provide training to their current workforce to meet new or changing business needs.
