{"id":1022,"date":"2026-01-09T19:43:37","date_gmt":"2026-01-09T19:43:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/?page_id=1022"},"modified":"2026-01-09T19:43:37","modified_gmt":"2026-01-09T19:43:37","slug":"shared-responsibilities-between-instructors-ecc","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/shared-responsibilities-between-instructors-ecc\/","title":{"rendered":"Shared Responsibilities Between Instructors &amp; ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">High School Faculty<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communicate enrollment procedures to students in class.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check every roster for accuracy at the beginning of the semester <strong>and upon request <\/strong>from ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inform ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø contact of ANY changes to the roster during the semester, so the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Roster is in alignment with the high school roster. <strong>Specifically, instructor needs to contact ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø immediately to administratively withdraw a student who has dropped their class or has not attended within 14 consecutive days and has no intent to return.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Even if instructors have individual course shells in Canvas, all instructors must still upload a syllabus for each course to the College\u2019s Syllabus Tool, during the first week of the semester.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teach to the ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø course outcomes.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use departmental assessments, syllabi, and texts (unless prior approval is given).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload grades in MyÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø in a timely manner at the end of the semester.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send gradebooks to Dean at the end of term.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend the Adjunct Faculty Workshop in the fall and any discipline-specific training required by the academic department.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Representatives &amp; Faculty<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Representative reaches out to faculty before or at the beginning of each term to request information on course and section needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Department Faculty shares syllabi and course material information, as well as course outcomes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Department Faculty reviews syllabi when uploaded to review to ensure alignment with course outcomes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Representative communicates throughout the term with reminders about checking rosters, deadlines, and grading procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Department Faculty meets with dual credit instructor once per semester in person or remotely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Department Faculty schedules observation visits with the high school instructor on a periodic basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>High School Faculty ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Representatives &amp; Faculty<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":98,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_eb_attr":"","footnotes":""},"yst_prominent_words":[],"class_list":["post-1022","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1022","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/98"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1022"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1022\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1023,"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/1022\/revisions\/1023"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1022"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"yst_prominent_words","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.eastcentral.edu\/earlycollege\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/yst_prominent_words?post=1022"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
