In Fall 2026, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø will launch an 8-month professional development cohort for faculty members seeking certification in best practices for online teaching. This certification is administered by the Association for College and University Educators<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cohort is facilitated by the Title III Professional Development Subcommittee and chair of the Faculty Professional Development Committee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility:<\/strong> Available to all full-time faculty members and adjuncts who meet certain requirements (see below); all experience levels are welcome
Capacity: <\/strong>16 members; interested faculty must apply by March 13
Courses:<\/strong> Four sequential courses, each 6-8 weeks
Course Modality:<\/strong> Asynchronous online (Canvas LMS)
Timeline:<\/strong> First course begins on August 24, 2026; last course ends in May 2027
Time Commitment:<\/strong> Two to four hours per week to complete coursework, plus any additional time needed to implement learning strategies in real courses
Meetings:<\/strong> Three in-person\/online meetings per semester for discussion with cohort members
Compensation:<\/strong> $750 stipend upon completion of each of the four courses; no reassigned time<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
