5.15 Notice of Non-Discrimination

Applicants for admission and employment, students, employees, sources of referral of applicants for admission and employment, and individuals with whom the Board of Trustees and College officials do business are hereby notified that ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, ethnic or national origin,  genetic information, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran’s status or any factor that is a prohibited consideration under applicable law.

5.15.1Ìý Compliance Inquiries (Adopted 12-2-2013; Revised 10-5-2017, 03-09-2026)

Any employee or applicant having inquiries concerning ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø’s compliance with employment regulations implementing Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 is directed to contact the Director of Human Resources, Hansen Hall room 133, telephone number 636-584-6710, hrecc@eastcentral.edu.

ÌýAny student who believes that they have been discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, age, genetic information, or veteran status should contact the Vice President of Student Development, Buescher Hall room 124, telephone number 636-584-6565.Ìý Any student who believes that they have been discriminated against on the basis of disability should contact an appropriate faculty member or Access staff and may use the grievance policy found in Policy 3.29.
