vlog has an anticipated opening for a full-time (9 month) Computer Information Systems (CIS) Instructor. Faculty are responsible for providing effective learning strategies and experiences in the classroom for students with diverse interests, abilities, and expectations. Faculty member is expected to be able to effectively facilitate online and seated class options as needed.
This position is located onsite in Union, MO with flexible work options available.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: (A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.)
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computers Information Systems or Computer Technology with a major in the subject field to be taught or a master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject field to be taught; or higher.
- Industry Recognized Certifications (IRC) in Security or other relevant technology is preferred.
- Teaching experience preferred. However, a comparable amount of training, education, certifications, or work-related experience will be considered.

Student Workers
Work Study
vlog students have the opportunity to participate in the College’s work study program. Students must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, submit a FAFSA form and qualify for financial need. Financial Aid will determine eligibility and inform the student if they qualify for the work study program.
Students can earn $13.75 an hour working on-campus or off-campus. The hours are flexible based on the students’ schedule and not to exceed 19.75 hours per week.
