TLC has a variety of ways to meet your tutoring needs…
Face-to-face – Our main service is tutoring in person with a trained Specialist or Peer Tutor during normal business hours. Please call 636-584-6688 for more information, self-schedule by clicking , or you can email general_tutoring@eastcentral.edu to make an appointment, but walk-ins are also welcome.
Online Tutoring (in-house) – TLC also offers tutoring sessions virtually during normal business hours by appointment only.
Mobile Tutoring – Want us to come to you? Just call 636-584-6688 and tell us when, where (at ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Union), and what subject and we’ll have a tutor meet with you during normal business hours.
NetTutor – The Learning Center has contracted with NetTutor to provide ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø students with free online tutoring. Highly qualified tutors will ask questions to help guide you through the process. You may work with a live tutor, submit a question to the Q&A center, or review archives of previous tutoring sessions.
NetTutor follows Learning Center tutoring policies with sessions limited to one hour per day per subject, but is now available 24/7, 365 days a year to help.
To access NetTutor, go to your MyÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø account and select Canvas. Then select the NetTutor card in your Canvas course or from within each course’s side menu.

It’s a fact! ÌÇÐÄvlog¹Ù꿉۪s Institutional Research data indicate that over the past 5 years, students who received 3 or more tutoring sessions in a specific course were 65% more likely to earn an A, B, or C in that course. The Learning Center has increased its tutoring effectiveness by 10%.
